Mid-Ohio Dressage Association Wraps Mid-Ohio Classic I and II at Brave Horse Show Park

Brave Horse Show Park hosted the Mid-Ohio Dressage Association’s Mid-Ohio Classic I and II July 13-16, welcoming about 100 horses and competitors from throughout the region. Although nearly 3 inches of rain fell on Thursday of the show, tests continued due to the Brave Horse drainage system and the Footing First LLC premier footing.

“We are so pleased with the ability of the grounds and rings to handle whatever weather comes our way,” said Matt Harris, owner of Brave Horse. “Our decision to plan and invest in superior infrastructure was made out of respect for the health of the horse and to insure a high quality competitor experience. We’re very gratified by the overwhelmingly positive feedback from MODA.”

Riders were rewarded the rest of the weekend with picture perfect weather. Competitor comments included:

“We really appreciate the thought that went into building this place. Quality and concern for the horses went into every detail.”

“What an amazing premier facility--from the beautiful property layout to the roomy, well thought out stall arrangements. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.”
