Spring Week III Brings Showers and TriColors at Brave Horse Ohio

Despite dodging some showers throughout the weekend exhibitors and trainers enjoyed a productive weekend of showing at Brave Horse Spring Week III April 19-22. There were many impressive victories in the hunters, jumpers, and the equitation..

The Children’s Hunters 3’ remained as competitive as always. Rock On, a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood owned by Grace Egan and ridden by Gabrielle Phlegar, emerged as Champion. This was Rock On and Gabrielle’s second tricolor of the show having also ridden to the top spot in the Children’s Equitation 3’ division.

In the next ring over, Golden Girl and Hope Cassells earned Champion in the Opportunity Short Stirrup/Limit Rider Equitation. Golden Girl, owned by Anneliese Kolaska, closely competed with Morning Glory, owned by Holly Helbig and ridden by Tess Lakatos, for the tricolor.

Olano of Sugar Run Farm ridden by Anne Cooper, won champion in the Opportunity Short Stirrup/Limit Rider Hunters. Golden Girl and Hope Cassells, the champion of the Opportunity Short Stirrup/Limit Rider Equitation, took reserve.

In the 3’3” Junior Hunters, Anneliese Kolaska and her very own Caesar Augustus took champion after contending closely with Chamonix and Sydney Miller. Anneliese and Auggie finished the division in the lead by four points.
