Brave Horse Summer Series Week IV features Exceptional Medal and Classic Competition
Brave Horse riders turned out in droves to compete in the fourth week of the Summer Series July 19 – 21. As happened in the previous show week, Brave Horse reached capacity with hundreds of horses and riders competing throughout the weekend.
Despite intermittent rainfall the weekend turned out to be a beautiful one for exhibitors and spectators. Friday afternoon included a party with fun refreshments (donut wall!) featuring all of our wonderful vendors for the weekend. Special thanks to A Bit Above, CWD, Equestrian Team Apparel, Equus Now!, LM Custom Boots, Sweet Nays, Urban Sundry, Voltaire Design and Winslow Photography for being a part of the Brave Horse Show Park family.
There was plenty of thrilling competition throughout the show with some of the most competitive divisions being the Classic and Medal classes.
In the Junior/AO Hunter Classic, Oh Brother, ridden and owned by Vanessa Mazzoli and trained by Janet Mazzoli, emerged with the tri color. This same pair also won the extremely competitive Junior Hunter 3’3” Division. In both divisions Anneliese Kolaska’s Herr Drosselmeyer, trained by Sarah Ash, took the reserve spot.

Things were very busy in the cross rails division with lots of great trips by our exhibitors. There was a hotly contested race for the Champion spot in Outreach Cross Rails with Helen Griffith aboard Hillcrest Red and Blue in her very first horse show ever taking the top honors and Delanie Borders and Camelot in Reserve. Griffith trains with Holly Helbig and Borders trains with Colleen Holton.
